Coopr ("we," "us," or "our") is a pet care coordination app that helps households track and share pet care activities. We are operated by Coopr and can be reached at [email protected].
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us when you use Coopr:
- Account information — your name and email address when you create an account
- Pet information — pet names, species, breed, age, and health details you choose to enter
- Care activity logs — meals, walks, medications, vet visits, and other activities you record
- Household information — names of people you invite to share your household in the app
- Device information — device type, operating system, and app version for technical support purposes
We do not collect payment information directly. Payments are processed securely by Apple (App Store) and RevenueCat. We never see or store your credit card details.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Coopr app
- Sync your pet care data across devices and household members
- Send you notifications and reminders you've configured in the app
- Respond to your support requests and questions
- Send launch updates and product announcements (waitlist subscribers only — you can unsubscribe at any time)
- Understand how the app is used so we can improve it
We do not use your information for advertising. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not sell your data to any third party, ever.
4. Information Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share your information only in these limited circumstances:
- Household members — pet care activity you log is shared with other members of your household within the app, as intended by the product
- Service providers — we use trusted third-party services to operate the app, including Supabase (database), RevenueCat (subscriptions), and Apple (app delivery). These providers are contractually required to protect your data and may not use it for any other purpose
- Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which uses industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing [email protected].
7. Children's Privacy
Coopr is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately at [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion — request that we delete your personal data
- Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format
- Opt-out — unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email we send

9. Push Notifications
Coopr may send push notifications to remind you of scheduled pet care activities. You can control notification permissions at any time through your device's Settings app. Turning off notifications does not affect your account or data.

Coopr uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com/privacy)
- RevenueCat — subscription management (revenuecat.com/privacy)
- Apple App Store — app delivery and payments (apple.com/legal/privacy)
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. The date at the top of this page reflects when it was last updated. Continued use of Coopr after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
